Join us in celebrating 34 years of service for Lena Poulin.  She is an expert Induction Brazer with exceptional team leadership skills and cross trained to support several processes.  She works closely with engineering and leadership to handle some of the most difficult braze set ups and processes, always approaching it with a keen eye for safety.  Her commitment and dedication is top notch.

When she’s not driving success at STS she enjoys fishing, especially on The Great Lakes.

Our Environmental Test Lab team has contributed monumentally to our success the Flex and Metal hose market. Without the dedication and commitment of these individuals, we would not be who we are in the aerospace industry. The lab team consists of Mark Rennie, Longin Muza, and Jay Gilson along with the Engineering, R&D, and Production teams as their main support systems. Most recently, the team has gone above and beyond processing and completing critical testing, providing conformance to qualified product. Not only does this team consistently meet scheduled requirements, they can sprint at a moment’s notice to satisfy additional requests. This often requires weekends and off-shifts, disrupts schedules and requires personal sacrifices. This can-do team rises to the occasion time and time again with no complaints. The next time you see any of these individuals, give them a thank-you—for they maintain our top-performing status.

Jennifer grew up with a desire to work with her hands in the automotive industry. She would often work with friends on their car repairs in her free time and became a hairdresser—a career path selected because her parents told her welding and machining was not a field for girls.

Fast forward some years, and Jennifer decided to go back to her dream and started working at Titeflex Europe. She showed interest and promise, and we sponsored her schooling, where teachers reported her exceptionally talented. Turned out, Jennifer passed her certificate training in record time, twice—a never-seen-before feat at The Welding Institute.

During Covid lockdown, instead of picking up a new skill, Jennifer asked to go for more welding qualifications, and she proved again to be a star performer. She has been nominated by instructors to go for an engineer level welding certificate, and studying machining when not doing that or working. Jennifer shows tenacity and perseverance like no other, and we are proud to have her as part of our team.

Join us in celebrating 21 years of service for Diane Dello Russo.  She is an experienced Production Planner with exceptional teaming skills.  She works closely with operators, master planning and leadership to align resources according to the operational needs.  She is always proactively 10 steps ahead to resolve potential obstacles before they impact production.  Her care and commitment are keys to the smooth flow of our flex production operation.

Manju joined Titeflex at the young age of 19 as a production fitter on the shop floor, where he learned the ropes methodically and became a perfectionist of his craft. His broad thinking and curiosity was noticed amidst his production skills, and he was promoted to the Planning department. Since his promotion, Manju has implemented significant improvements, resulting in time and money savings, earning him the Flex-tek Excellence Award for Production Excellence.

During this time, Manju also learned how to turn his excellent communication skills into a new venture, as he won the Inter Divisional Public Speaking Contest for Flex-tek and Smiths. During his free time, Manju enjoys spending time with his wife Arpitha and son Pragnay, and playing volleyball, cricket, and relaxing.

Brock has been with STS Aerospace since 2005.  He has held many positions within the company including Fabrication Mechanic, Lead, Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer and Operations Manager.  He has been working on the development of the leadership group and is excited to share the accomplishments.  “I feel that we truly believe in personal development and relationship building of team members in addition to meeting business objectives.”

Ashley Clements has been with STS Aerospace since March 2020.  She started her journey as a Final Inspector, then moved into the DSQR role.  She is now a Quality Engineer!  “My new position was a goal of mine when I started working here.  I always like to ask why, and not accept something for what it is and that’s helped me learn and understand my job better.”
